Today Is A Stupid Day.

1:51PM — I went into work late today because I had to take the dogs into the vet. When I got here, I was in a foul mood because of the vet visit, and a couple of co-workers made it more foul… fouler, if you will. To make things worse, I’m eating Taco Bell. Again. For like the sixth time in a week. When will the pain stop?

11:15AM – There’s a bunch of new CDs I just found out about today! Some of which have been out for a month or more! Wheee! Today, I obtained Less Than Jake, Flogging Molly, and Dropkick Murphy’s new CDs… and, so far, they are all amazing. Get them! Now!

11:47PM — Yeah, I barely got one in today, but here it is. I was working on a Wiki all day, so I didn’t really get much of a chance to update this one. My apologies to all 0-1 of my readers!

Another Day, Another Dime.

8:47AM — And, another day rears its ugly head. Boo. Today, I’ll be spending most of my time adding a number of laptops to a vast and terrible database. If you are eviscerated by a horse, you will be having more fun than me.

Busy Busy Busy.

2:15PM — Jesus, today has just been nonstop action! First, I went to work. Then, I ate some lunch. Then, I worked some more! Holy crap! No, but it has been an interesting day. I sold a $400 phone on eBay for $550… neat. Also, I ate Wendy’s for like the third day in a row. I so love the value menu. Lastly, but certainly not least… I’ve decided that I’m not so sure I like the new iPhone compared to the old one, aesthetically speaking.

Weekends Are Great.

9:33AM — Seriously, who doesn’t love a nice, long weekend? I’m in a much better mood now… I’m actually motivated to do stuff. Yeah. It’s like that. After much drinking, some cleaning, some COPS-watching… I’m feeling the effects of having a legitimately good time this weekend, and I’m thinking this week might turn out signifigantly better than the last. Erin informed me that she will support me 100% in my career choice, which is the best news ever… the only thing that could make this week any better is if Sushi Ya! was open… ohh… now I’ve made myself sad.

4:43PM — I’m in an absolutely greusome mood right now. I’m tired (was up until 5:00AM for a police ride-along)… I’m hungry (I’ve had five buffalo wings so far today)… I’m fucking depressed (work/family drama)… I hate where I’m at in life (would rather being going to school instead of working fulltime)… and I’m being shit on, that’s right shit on, by all of my ‘customers’ thus far today. I just want to go home and pass out, then when I wake up have it be like five years from now. That’d be pinnacle.

Dammit, I’m Hungry.

10:38AM — So, I had to come into late work today… whatever. The worst part, I think, is that I am hungry… oh-so-hungry… I didn’t really eat a whole lot last night, because we went for Chinese and they only gave us half the order… so no Dragon & Pheonix for me… so I split a single order of Sweet & Sour Chicken with a friend of mine. And that was about 13 hours ago, so I’m positively starving now. Won’t you take pity on me?

4:17PM — So, I worked my ass off today, and accomplished next to nothing. Lo, and the Great Beast that is IT strikes again! I was literally running around from site to site trying to fix people’s problems… once I’d fix one issue, another would invariably arise. And, of course, the user was completely useless to me in terms of background or assistance. One of the last calls I had, the individual actually argued with me about putting her password in before her username… seriously? It’s been that kind of day.

What’s Wrong With Me?

8:17AM — So, I’m using a BlackBerry 8330 until the new iPhone comes out. It’s unlocked/unlimited, which makes it a bit better, but still… I SWORE that I would never use one… and now I’m using one. I’m living a lie.

4:11PM — Blah… I’m in a depressed mood. There’s a job that I want to apply for here… but others will apply for it and will probably get it. It sucks, because I definitely need the moneys… but, whatever. I’ll only be here for a few years more before I’m off to the Academy… I suppose I have that to look forward to, as long as I survive long enough to get there. I’ve got a busy remainder of the week, too… class/exam tonight… work all day then ride-along tomorrow night from 6PM to 6AM… work Friday, then over to a friend’s for a get-together… then Taekwondo on Saturday morning… another get-together Saturday night. I just need some time for myself, I think. I’m getting really busy again, and I’m not sure I like it all that much.

I’m So Incredibly Bored Right Now

9:17AM — Title says it all… I’m so bored right now, I could shit. Sad thing is, I’m at work… where I should be working. But, I’m kind of stuck in “hurry up and wait” mode, and I can’t really do anything at the moment. Today is turning out to be a big pile of piss thus far.

12:38PM — Well, my mood has definitely gotten a lot better. There’s a new site up called Carbonite Dreams… it’s essentially an encyclopedia for the KotOR-era of Star Wars. Anyway, I get to be a writer on their staff, which I think is pretty kick-ass. I like writing, I like Star Wars… seems to be a pretty good match, I would say.

2:13PM — Good lord… Taco Bell two days in a row can’t be a good thing. I mean — really — why do I always have to take out my aggressions on my own body this way? Also of note, I see that Adobe and Apple are engaging in yet another pissing match… see, the problem is that it’s always the customer who suffers. We suffer because we can’t view a certain percentage of web pages because they use Flash… I honestly think the problem is with Apple. They create these products that the world in general just bows to, and as a result they get to dictate the terms and conditions of every piece of new technology in the given arena… it sickens me! Just when it seems like we’re getting somewhere in terms of moving towards open standards, another iDevice comes out, just shattering said progress. And, sadly, I’m part of the problem. /sigh

4:33PM — I can’t describe how much I hate PayPal… but it’s a lot. They are a faceless bastard of a company, with no regard for their clients well-being or happiness… oh, or satisfaction. It always seems to come last with them, so I kind of forgot about it. Fuck PayPal. That is all.
