The last time I posted anything here, I was in a foul phase of life. My marriage was (finally, officially) falling apart and I was living on a friend of mine’s couch. Comfortable as the couch was, it wasn’t exactly where I wanted to be in life. Still, I couldn’t bring myself to write about it while it was going on, so I figure maybe now that I have time to look back at it I might post some of my thoughts from those times, and some from these times. Maybe.

Also… I’m going to Hawaii with the sweetest, most beautiful girl on Earth in about two weeks. It’s gonna be glorious. That’s the now… soon, I’ll post the ‘then’. It’ll be like a Tarantino flick.

I feel that this is a relatively safe place to post my thoughts. A journal is supposed to be private, but I’m a pretty public person so this would satisfy both needs equally. No one actually views this site, but just knowing that it’s possible makes it public enough for me. More to come…

So… to sum up everything Sarah Palin has said tonight: “I don’t know much about the economy, other countries, the war, this country, people, life, or video games or sexy people… so let’s talk about Alaska, gosh darnit. Heck. <insert made-up demographic here>.”

I am watching this debate on CNN, where they’ve got a ticker on the bottom indicating the responses to the candidates from uncommitted men and women from Ohio. When Biden talks, it’s WAY positive about 80% of the time or more. When Palin talks, it just kind of bobbles in the middle… like no one really knows what the fuck she’s talking about when she opens her mouth.

Also, Alaska does NOT equal a huge state. Geographically? It is large. In terms of population? You’re dealing with a state with less people than the SMALL PART of Chicago for which Barack Obama was responsible for as a community organizer. Then again, contributing to your community is petty hilarious to Republicans, so I assume she just forgot about his experience there.

Sarah needs to go home. She should sit at her rear-most facing window, facing Russia and stay vigilant to make sure we never get invaded by the Reds.

That or, you know, go back to her home on Whore Island.

Wow! It has been a sick amount of time since I posted last, but I’m fine with that… and since I’m the only one who reads this, that’s really all that matters, right?

Anyway, watched the debates last night… John McCain makes my head feel like it’s going to explode. How someone can get away with spewing complete fabrications without any kind of evidence… what’s worse is that his base just eats it right up. Nobody ever bothers checking this kind of shit, they just hear what they want to hear and move on with their lives… it’s ok, though. Obama’s going to raise my taxes and take my guns while meeting unconditionally by himself with Osama Bin Laden. Right? Isn’t that what he’ll do?

Gimme a fucking break.

Why, hello everyone! I have been just busy as balls lately… it’s been made damn-near impossible for me to update this thing with much in the way of regularity… but I’m here now, and that should be sufficient.

What can I say? Work has been busy, school even busier, the home front is thriving as well… seems I’ve got about no time whatsoever to myself. Should I like this feeling? I suppose it should make me feel a little useful, which would be great if I was an old man; I’m not an old man. I sure do act like it, though. I wake up, don’t eat, go to work, come home, go poop, eat some dinner, and fall asleep on the couch until it’s time for bed. Rinse & repeat. How boring is that shit?!

I saw The Dark Knight opening night… THAT guy has it made. It only looks like he’s a multi-billionaire playboy, when in fact he’s actually out every night fighting crime. In a fucking batsuit! I’ll bet if I had one of those, my life would instantly be 1000000% more interesting.

It’s been like a week since my last post, and for that I apologize… yes, to all one of you who read this. I’ve just been extremely busy and stressed out re: a job I applied for… that, and AT&T is being a fucking douche as usual. They effectively raped my wife’s upgrade, then refuse to do anything about it, so she can’t buy a new phone until 2010. Pretty cool, AT&T. Way to put the customer’s needs first.

So, I think I pissed all over my perfect 4.0 today. I got at LEAST one answer wrong on my exam, which will be the first wrong thing I’ve done in that class. It makes me sad, to my core. I thought you all should know.

Yay! I fucking finished it! This post was my reward for finishing it… I feel fantastic now.
